Taming of the Queue 2012

This year's conference theme "Looking Back, Going Forward: Reframing Timely Access as Part of Health System Transformation" is with the goal of assessing Canada’s performance in improving timely access to Canadians. The conference will pay special attention to strategic issues related to wait times in light of discussions surrounding the 2014 Accord, and will include presentations and panel discussions by leading international, national, provincial and regional speakers in wait-time management.

Pre-conference Workshop  

There will be a half-day workshop on “Waiting Time Management Strategies for Scheduled Health Care Services” to be held in the Drawing Room, Ottawa Château Laurier Hotel, Wednesday, March 28, 2012 (1200-1800h). The workshop is organized by Dr. Tom Noseworthy, the CIHR Emerging Team and the Western Canada Waiting List Project Investigators and will include presentations and interactive sessions on waiting time management strategies.
