IHI Session featuring Canadian Harkness Fellow Christopher Hayes—Making the work of QI less draining and more sustaining

Christopher Hayes, Canadian Harkness Fellow in Health Care Policy and Practice at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), will be taking part in a free audio session on June 5, 2014, offered through the Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s Video and Audio Program series.

The session, Making the Work of QI Less Draining and More Sustaining, will take a fresh look at the ways to reduce the chance of overburdening staff and physicians with change. Hayes will be joined by Uma R. Kotagal, Senior Vice President for Quality, Safety, and Transformation, James M. Anderson Center for Health Systems Excellence, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, and Julie A. Holt, Vice President, Patient Services, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
