Erin Leith is responsible for CFHI’s EXTRA: Executive Leadership Training Program – a pan-Canadian, bilingual, team-based improvement program that builds leadership and organizational capacity to tackle persistent and complex healthcare challenges. Erin also oversees CFHI’s Improvement Online suite of virtually delivered improvement e-collaboratives, skill building e-workshops and the popular innovation sharing On Call webinar series.

Previously, Erin led the design and delivery of CFHI’s collaboration with the Northwest Territories Department of Health and Social Services which focused on improving the delivery and integration of chronic disease management services for the territory. In 2010, Erin led the design and delivery of the national Picking Up the Pace Conference which aimed to speed the spread of primary healthcare innovations, and managed the former CADRE program which built capacity for applied health services and nursing research from 2001-2012.

Prior to joining CFHI in 2007, Erin worked as a nurse for the Nova Scotia Health Authority (formerly Capital District Health Authority), and interned at the former Nova Scotia Department of Health Promotion and Protection. Erin volunteers as a Program Chair for the Ottawa Network for Borderline Personality Disorder and holds a Master of Health Services Administration from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Francis Xavier University.
