Margo S. Rowan

Margo S. Rowan, PhD, C.E., is a creative, authentic, highly experienced, and credentialed evaluator. For more than 20 years she has run a successful consulting business with a team of trusted colleagues. She has an extensive background in all facets of health evaluation and research design, implementation, data collection, analysis, and publication. She has collaborated with faculties of medicine, nursing and veterinary science; community health centres; hospitals; health associations; research institutes; governments; and other non-profit organizations. She has enjoyed mentoring staff on many of her projects. Her recent experience in working with Indigenous Peoples across Canada was truly remarkable.

Her special interests are in developing performance measurement frameworks, conducting qualitative and mixed method studies, and writing for publication. Simplifying and deconstructing complex problems is something she thrives on. Currently, she has turned her focus to creating theory of change models, developmental evaluation, and applying implementation science methodologies and frameworks within evaluation. She would like to explore better ways of communicating evaluation results to varied audiences. Outside of work she enjoys staying active at the gym and spending time with her three lovely daughters.
