Canadian Foundation for Healthcare Improvement Welcomes Two New Board Members

The Canadian Foundation for Healthcare Improvement welcomed two new members to its volunteer Board of Directors. Fred Horne – a Canadian health policy consultant who served as Alberta’s Minister of Health from 2011 to 2014 – and Petrina McGrath – Executive Director of Quality and Safety for the Saskatchewan Health Authority – were elected and begin their terms immediately.

“I am pleased to welcome Petrina McGrath and Fred Horne to CFHI’s Board of Directors,” said Lynn Stevenson, CFHI Board Chair. “We will benefit from their wealth of experience spanning clinical practice, quality improvement, system leadership, policy development, research and elected office as we seize the opportunity to enhance collaboration with our stakeholders and deliver better health, care and value for all Canadians.”
